Our Advanced Protection K9 come with all the training and advantages of the Family Protection K9, they are usually Shepherds that have trained 1-3 years longer in protection/obedience to get to this stage. The dogs that reach this program can also be handled by a novice, but we highly recommend that our trainers come to your place of business or home and train you and your family or partners to handle this type of protection K9.

In this stage we also can customized the dog for things that the owner especially needs. For example, a client owns a jewelry store - the dog can be trained to stand at the door at closing and not let anyone in, and escort the owner to the car and to the vault / night drop or to the house off leash and in a guard and ready position. He can also be taught to hold the bag and handle it throughout the trip to the vaults and guard the bag with his life. Some of our clients have boats and have asked us to train our K9 to work on the water, in the water and on the boats, and they can also be trained to not allow anyone without command onto the boat. They can also be trained to do a house search or building search prior to the owner entering the home or building for any potential threats or dangerous persons.

The obedience is advanced at this stage and so is the protection. Dogs at this stage in the program are great with the family, however we suggest that when friends and family are visiting (that do not live in the home) - the Protection K9 be crated or placed away, while welcome guests are in the home. This type of Shepherd will always watch your back. They can walk backwards, or if the client desires - between your legs. They will also look back once someone passes you on the street and yard. This type of K9 is like a 24-hour bodyguard. They can settle and be part of the family, but they have been highly trained and customized to deter and handle any threat to their family. They can also be taught to bite the gun hand of a perpetrator. These dogs will not back down to gunfire and will be a valuable asset to any family or business where Personal Protection K9 or Advanced Protection Shepherd is needed.
